Detailed Itinerary
You will be taken from your Nairobi hotel early and head to The Forest which is about 35 KMs from Nairobi city centre. This will give you ample time to travel and have a stop over at the fascinating view point of the
Great Rift Valley
for photo taking. You will later proceed and enter the forest using the East gate.You will climb the mountain on rough terrain and muddy road to get the African experience (especially when wet) where only 4×4 vehicles make it to the top.
Perched on elevated ground The Forest offers sweeping views of the scenic
Aberdares Ranges
and breathtaking landscapes that inspired early
settlers. The view delights as far as the eye can see into the Aberdare Ranges
and on a clear sunny day,
Mount Kenya
is majestically visible. The Forest is all about revitalizing your body and soul through
active learning and direct experiences in are safe and friendly
environment.
You will cover outdoor activities including: horse riding, mountain biking, 2 lines of zip-lining, paint balling, and guided nature walks. Finally if you care about our Mother Earth, you will get an opportunity to plant a tree for memories of your Kenyan visit. In between the activities or after you can enjoy your organic lunch at the restaurant with locally available products.
You will later depart for Nairobi where you will be taken to your hotel or the airport if catching a flight home in the evening.
